SYKETTÄ services during COVID-19 pandemic

Universities of Joensuu have decided that all spring semester’s SYKETTÄ sports services are closed at least until 31st. of May because of Covid 19 virus. Decision came into effect on Friday 13 March 2020 at 8am. SYKETTÄ informs users via webpage and social media accounts.

SYKETTÄ instructors have been producing and posting workout videos and tips for exercising in quarantine-like conditions. You can find materials from Instagram, Facebook and Youtube. This week (20) the most of our instructors have started their well-earned summer break. However, the virtual workouts don’t end complitely, as a few of our instructors will still be doing virtual workouts during May. All virtual workouts can be found in all our social media channels. SYKETTÄ is visiting in ISYY´s virtual coffee room on Monday 18.5. at 11.30 – 12.30

You can come to meet as there and ask for example about the newest SYKETTÄ news or give us some wishes for coming autumn semester.

DECISION ON SPRING 2020 SYKETTÄ STICKERS

SYKETTÄ Joensuu and Kuopio decided, that users who bought Spring 2020 SYKETTÄ stickers between 28.2.-13.3.2020 will be offered a chance to switch their sticker to Autumn 2020 SYKETTÄ sticker. Persons in question will get a notice via email. If user chooses to switch sticker, their Spring 2020 SYKETTÄ sticker will expire in the end of May.

Tikkarinne gym keyfob return:

If you have an electronic key to Tikkarinne gym and you want to return it, please follow these instructions.

Returning keyfob obtained from ISYY office:

You can return the Tikkarinne gym keyfob to the “key return” mailbox inside of the University Aurora building, Entrance B (same than FSHS building). Door is open Mon-Thu at 7.45 – 15 and Fri 7.45 – 14. You will find the mailbox in the hall.

Put your information on a piece of paper and the key fob into an envelope. Write clearly the following info if you wish to get back your deposit: Put the keyfob into an envelope with your name and account number and close it well.
If you live in the EU: IBAN and BIC
If you live outside the EU: IBAN, BIC, your bank’s name and address as well as your address in your home country
If you have a Finnish bank account: your Finnish account number
It is very important to address the envelope correctly by using the following text: “Heli Aalto / SYKETTÄ University sports, ISYY office”.
